But we dont draw conclusions from appearances on matters like this, so we ordered one for testing. Some stats for you:
-ID3 Tagging
-Preset EQ patterns for a range of listening styles
-AC-Adapter or D batteries
-AUX port - play anything through the JVC RC-EZ35
-Hyper-Bass sound system
-Remote control
First thing we discovered on taking it out the box was how light and well styled it was. It really does look quite good sitting on the lawn. The chassis is durable, and it is easily carried with the handle that comes with it. It even survived a few beer spillage incidents without even a scratch, which was lucky! But what about the meat and potatoes - what does it sound like? We were expecting average stereo range, but were pleasantly surprised by the richness and depth of the sound that came out of the JVC RC-EZ35. The bass is deep and powerful, confirming to us that this indeed is a boombox.
The style of the JVC RC-EZ35 may put some people off, but it certainly can boom with the best of them. it's loud, got great bass, and excellent sound quality. Add to this portability and compatability and you've got everything you need for a reasonable price. The JVC RC-EZ35 is highly recommended.
